TRAILER HOOKS ep. 5

Episode 5 is a special one. Westley had been in contact over the last couple years with U of M's, Will Tschetter trying to land a day to go fishing. It finally happened a couple weeks ago and the timing couldn't have been better considering The Wolverine's were fresh off their first National Championship since 1989. Will is an avid angler but doesn't have an incredible amount of experience stripping streamers. But after a quick 10 minute refresh on the fly rod, we were on our way. When I say it didn't take long, I mean he stuck a solid brown the very first cast after we pulled anchor. It set the tone for a super fun and memorable day. Congrats to the 2026 Michigan Wolverines and good luck to Will as he starts his 4 month basketball journey in Australia. Go Blue.

TRAILeR HOOKS EP. 4

A few years back the ⁨@BloodRunFishing⁩ crew linked up with Kyle and Josh who had recently purchased the Bestsie River Campground. After extensive upgrades and a rebrand, the now Winding River Campground is up and running and the store sticked with Bloodrun gear. If you're ever in the area and are in a pinch for gear, you know where to go. But on to Kyle...Westley began taking him on guide trips shortly after we all had met. Kyle is an absolute riot in the boot so I know I had to join with they went out a few weeks back. This is a fun one.

This is essentially a reintroduction after a long break from the series. I was tied up with a couple pretty intense edits so the team’s time on the water was limited but when we did get the time, we made the most of it.
